Beyond Beyond Castle Wolfenstein

This isn't actually a game, but rather an animated production created on the Apple II computer inspired by Beyond Castle Wolfenstein. The story follows the hero from Castle Wolfenstein. After he is captured, he calls for help using his Von Fone Kall. Answering the call are the Rescue Raiders — a team of video game mercenaries made up of characters from numerous classic games, including a Pac-Man ghost, Choplifter, Joust, Space Invaders, Drol, and many others. In the end, the hero is rescued by a Ghostbuster ghost, while the castle itself is obliterated by a laser blast from the Starship Enterprise. In total, it's an 8 1/2-minute animation short.
