Tandy Color Computer
TRS-80 Color Computer, also Tandy Color Computer, a series of eight-bit personal computers developed and marketed by Tandy Corporation in the 1980s.The first model was released in 1980, and production ended in 1991 with the Color Computer 3. Despite its name, it was not compatible with the TRS-80 computer. The success of that computer prompted the company to develop new designs, resulting in TRS-80 compatible models as well as completely different models. The company began adding TRS-80 to the name of computers completely unrelated to the first model. Tandy Corporation sold 200,000 copies of the TRS-80 Model I in 1980, making it the best-selling personal computer in the US.
